This is a popular writing program headed by Royal Oak writer Cindy La
Ferle. The new season will kick off with La Ferle reprising her series -- The
Writer's Life -- on three Thursdays -- September 4th, 11th and 18th. The
sessions will be held in the Friends Auditorium from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The format
will be different this fall, according to La Ferle, who describes it as follows:
Not a lecture or a workshop, The Writer's Life is a three-week, informal
discussion group for new and experienced working writers who want to talk about
everything from dealing with writer's block and rejection to balancing family
life with a writing career. This time a team of professional writers and editors
will sit on a panel to answer your questions on the writing life, so bring your
questions to the table.
